Applications now open for the new Community Grants Program

Oxford County Council has approved a new Oxford County Grants Program.
The fund is open to non-profit organizations and local economic development offices that are helping to support and advance the Safe and Well Oxford Plan and Oxford County Strategic Plan through their programs and activities.
The application period is open now until October 15. After this year, the application period will open from May 1 to August 30 each year, with funding decisions announced in January of the following year.

New all-way stop on Maplewood Sideroad and 16th Line

Oxford County is installing a new all-way stop at Oxford Road 28 (Maplewood Sideroad) and the 16th Line intersection in East Zorra-Tavistock.
The new all-way stop will include the following:
- Oversized all-way stop signs with red flashing beacons for north-south directions on 16th Line
- Oversized stop ahead signs on the north-south approaches to alert drivers of the approaching stop signs
